Little Taonga Maunga -Nui Breast Plate Earrings Silver

Taonga means treasure or prized possession in Maori culture. Each design captures a little something to be treasured - the places, nature and icons that make Aotearoa, NZ so special.

Maunga-nui, meaning “great mountain,” draws inspiration from the powerful peaks of Aotearoa, standing tall as a symbol of strength, protection, and enduring resilience.

Kōuma Breastplate represents resilience, guardianship, and the ability to shield oneself from negative energies or harm.

Each piece is made from fine brass dipped in 18KT Gold or Sterling Silver, covered with a clear tarnish-resistant coating to protect them from the elements.
